The hematite
gemstones of my hematite gemstone jewelry are created from the precious
minerals formed within our earth. This naturally occurring mineral of
iron oxide is found in igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. Hematite
colors can range from steel-gray, red, reddish brown, black, metallic, streak
dark red, cherry-red, or brownish red. Metallic hematite is the color
we see mostly of hematite gemstones in hematite gemstone jewelry.
Hematite
is found in many localities in North America, more specifically in New York,
Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado and Arizona. But you can also find
hematite gemstones in the handmade, hematite jewelry of
