Poppy Jasper Necklace

Overview

The semi-precious gemstones of my handmade gemstone jewelry designs are created from the precious minerals formed within our earth. These naturally occurring minerals are present in the rocks of the mountains, sand of the beach, and soil of the ground.

There are over 3500 minerals that are recognized, and I have designed handmade jewelry from some of the most beautiful and unique of these minerals. Gemstones each have their own unique properties including color, texture, and hardness, to name a few. Every person seems to be drawn to particular gemstone for a specific reason.

My love for gemstones should be obvious in that I love to design and make gemstone jewelry. My handcrafted jewelry designs are created for that unique person who is drawn to the beauty of natural gemstones. I want to be able to take a particular gemstone and design a piece of jewelry that a person feels a connection. That being said, when designing new gemstone jewelry, I also feel a connection with certain jewelry pieces. Those pieces are most often the pieces that I end up wearing. I hope that you will find a handmade gemstone jewelry design that you are drawn to and feel a connection with as well.

Poppy Jasper gemstone beads, 40 mm poppy jasper donut pendant, and Bali sterling silver accents and clasp are the components of this handmade poppy jasper necklace design. The bali tube shape accent beads are very detailed and are a stunning addition to this handmade poppy jasper necklace.

I designed this necklace to be worn long, as I feel this necklace looks stunning as a longer length necklace. This handcrafted poppy jasper necklace is finished with 1 1/2" of sterling silver chain, for a total length of 18 - 19 1/2".
