Cherry "quartz" gemstones, wild grape colored freshwater
pearls, and Hill Tribe sterling silver spacer beads make up this
cherry
quartz earrings design.
Because I am not absolutely sure the "cherry" quartz used
in this design are a dyed quartz or a manmade "cherry" quartz, I feel the
need to let you know this information. And because I carry only
semi-precious gemstone jewelry designs, it is a little bit disheartening
that I may have purchased a manmade cherry quartz, with the intention of
purchasing semi-precious cherry quartz gemstones. The only way I can
know this information for sure is to do a hardness test, but I have used all
the cherry quartz on these earrings and the matching necklace (see below). Nonetheless, these
"cherry" quartz earrings are VERY appealing and absolutely FUNKY
(in a good way). These earrings are very different than anything I have designed before, as
is the matching necklace below.
